What's a Recovery Coach?
Someone to support and direct your recovery goals. Whether it be recovering from a mental illness or achieving and maintaining sobriety, "It Takes A Village" and we are there to assist. Ongoing therapy can be costly and often fails to provide the ongoing contact that one may need to support the goal of recovery or recovery coaching can be an adjunct to whatever therapy one may be receiving and only further the goal of recovery. A Recovery Coach may be especially beneficial for those who have recently completed Alcohol/Drug Rehabilitation Programs/Psychiatric Hospitalization.
What are Their Qualifications?

Achieved Long-term Sobriety Alcohol/Drugs

Worked in Various Alcohol/Drug Programs & Mental Health Centers

Familiar with the Twelve-Step Approach to Treatment and Various Recovery Alternatives

Specific Training on Dual Diagnosis and Mental Illness
Oath of Confidentiality in Order to Ensure Confidential Treatment
How Does it Work?
- Together You will Develop a Schedule of When to Contact Each Other
- Check-ins May be Done by Email or Phone and You Establish the Frequency
- Set Goals and Identify Triggers to Relapse
- Work Together to Find Meetings or People to Support Your Ongoing Recovery
- Assist with Establishing a Daily Routine for Long-Term Recovery
- Assist with Organizational Skills
- Together You Establish Frequency of Face-to-Face Contact and Agreed Upon Meeting Places may be at the Office or Other Mutually Agreed Upon Meeting Place Outside of the Office
- May Assist with Providing Additional Support During Special Events
- Assist with Safe-Passage Transportation to Alcohol/Drug Rehabilitation Centers or Psychiatric Hospitals Around the World
- Identify Recovery Meetings to Attend and Coach May Attend with You
- The Program is Tailored to Meet Your Individual Needs
